Principled Collaboration: KENYA & the US  - Lessons from the Moi-Indiana Medical Schools Partnership

Lukoye Atwoli is Dean of the School of Medicine, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Moi University.  Dean Atwoli has conducted research that is focused on trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder in South Africa, and has published several papers from the work in international peer-reviewed journals

Since 1989, Moi University School of Medicine and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya and a consortium of North American academic health centers led by Indiana University School of Medicine have worked together to deliver health services, conduct health research, and develop leaders in health care for both North America and Africa.
