Administrative Barriers to Student Success and Retention
Please join us for a campus-wide discussion about Administrative Barriers to Student Success and Retention on Thursday, June 29 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Taylor Hall, Room 104.
We’ll share updates on campus indicators of retention as well as recent changes to policies and practices to enhance student success.
The most important part of the session will be your ideas on policies, practices and services for students. This is an opportunity for you to bring all the ideas you have each and every day when you work with students, share them with colleagues, and help us determine actions we can take as a campus to get more of our students to graduation.
Note that this event is “administratively focused” so we’ll keep our attention on changes and enhancements that affect practice and processes (rather than the curriculum, classroom experiences, faculty policies, etc). Examples from a previous meeting include discussions of how holds are used to guide students and common deadlines for filing for graduation.
Please share this invitation widely – all are invited!
