Accelerator Crash Course: Scrum (2-Day Course)

Learn the basics of Scrum, an Agile framework for completing complex projects, and Kanban, a technique for ensuring better communication through visual management, at our 2-day training course tailored for beginners.  This course is an ideal first step toward a Professional Scrum Master Certification (PSM).

You don't have to be a technical person to gain value from Scrum. Scrum has application beyond traditional software development. You do not need to be a software developer, or even work in technology, to benefit from using the principles of agile practices like Scrum.

--If you work on projects that are complex, have limited resources such as time or budget) or have shifting priorities and requirements, Scrum can help.

--Scrum certification can be a career-booster. PSM is one of the most common certifications employers seek when they hire.

Class size is limited to 20. To apply for a seat, fill out THIS FORM by midnight, Sunday, October 1, 2017. Those selected will be notified by Tuesday, October 3, and must confirm their seat by midnight, Monday, October, 9. A waitlist will be used to fill any seats not claimed or cancelled.

These workshops typically occur on a Saturday and/or Sunday, and last 6+ hours. Lunch is provided at each session.  Because of the popularity of these workshops and the limited seats, attendees must apply for a seat at each workshop.  They are open to any IUB student, but preference is given to CEWiT affiliates.
