Accelerator Crash Course: 3D Printing

This workshop provides an entry-level introduction about 3D printing. During this workshop, participants are able to gain a basic understanding on 3D printing, co-creatge a 3-D design and connect 3-D printing with personal interests and professional careers. In particular, the workshop aims to bring awareness to the many uses of 3-D printing, and that we can continue to encourage more women to utilize this new technology in related fields.
Accelerator Crash Courses are designed to provide to provide a space for women to learn more than just the basics about a topic. These workshops are highly collaborative and interactive and are intended to encourage further in-depth and independent learning of the subject matter.
Class size is limited to 20.
**Please note: Because of the popularity of this class, anyone who is selected but does not show up will incur a no-show fee of $50, unless she or he cancels by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight, Sunday, October 29, 2017.**
These workshops typically occur on a Saturday and/or Sunday, and last 6+ hours. Lunch is provided at each session. Because of the popularity of these workshops and the limited seats, attendees must apply for a seat at each workshop. They are open to any IUB student, but preference is given to CEWiT affiliates.
