PLAYING FOR CHANGE: Sport for Social Change and Social Business as a Mechanism for Sustainability   Presented by: Dr. Anne Bunde-Birouste Founder and CEO of Football United Convener, Health Promotion Program, The University of South Wales, Australia Wednesday, September 13 11: 30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. PH 125 Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m.   Dr. Anne Bunde-Birouste is the Convener of the Health Promotion at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at The University of New South Wales. She is also the Director of the UNSW Yunus Social Business for Health Hub, Founding Director of Football United (footballunited.org.au) and Director of the Creating Chances social enterprise. Anne has over 25 years of international practice, policy and advocacy work with focus on health and development, practice-based research. Anne is recognized both nationally and internationally for her expertise in Health Promotion, Sport for Development and Social Change, leadership, mentoring and networking. The Football United program promotes social inclusion and human rights for disadvantaged youth and their families using soccer/football as the vehicle. Football United’s team developed the Creating Chances lifeskills program which in 2014 together with the Rugby Youth Foundation led to the founding of the first social enterprise to use sport for social change to make measurable impact in, social inclusion, education, employment and health with youth.
