Proposals for Graduate Symposium Due!
-- Are you a graduate student currently working on an interesting technology-related project you want to speak about?
-- Are you getting ready to present on a technology-related project at a conference and need some practice in front of an audience?
If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, then we want to hear from you!
Graduate Women in Technology (G-WiT) is hosting the first Graduate Symposium of the 2017-2018 academic year on Friday, November 10th, from 10:00 AM-12:00 AM. Each of the five speakers selected will be given 10 minutes to present their work, leaving time at the end for a Q&A session and mingling.
In addition to providing a great opportunity for graduate students to meet and hear about each other's work, the Graduate Symposium provides an excellent venue to present your own technology-based work in a friendly and supportive setting. So if you have something to share, we'd love to hear about it!
Proposals for the Graduate Symposium are short and aim to be hassle-free. No formal abstract is required; simply provide 2-3 sentences on the topic you would like to present by Friday, Sept 22nd.
