Urinetown

Inspired by the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, Urinetown is a wickedly irreverently satire set in a Gotham-like city where a terrible water shortage has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. "IT'S A PRIVILEGE TO PEE", announces Penelope Pennywise as she collects money at the public toilet which is run by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. But a young hero emerges and plans a revolution which will ensure that everyone can PEE FOR FREE!
