"Being Mortal" Screening and Discussion

Indiana University Northwest’s School of Nursing invites the campus and community to a free screening and discussion of the PBS Frontline documentary “Being Mortal,” from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, October 24th at the Main Stage Theater at the Arts & Sciences Building. Based on the bestselling book by Dr. Atul Gawande, this film explores the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness and their relationships with the doctors, nurses and family members who care for them. Join the discussion about an inescapable reality of life and learn how to have conversations about experiencing a serious illness or dying prior to a medical crisis.
