Senior Listening SessionsThe Center for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE) invites senior citizens (age 55 and better) to share their ideas for future senior-focused lifelong learning programming and outreach. CURE’s popular Senior University program offers courses on such topics as smartphones, chair yoga, photography, and more. Now, CURE wants to hear from community residents about topics to offer for future sessions of Senior University, as well as ideas on how to build a sustainable senior-focused program. There are two sessions to choose from, either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Mar. 2, or 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Mar. 5 in the John W. Anderson Library Conference Center, Room 105. Parking passes are required for on-campus parking. To receive a free pass, RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 21 by contacting the CURE office at 219-980-6907 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
