Proposals for Graduate Symposium Due!
-- Are you a graduate student currently working on an interesting technology-related project you want to speak about?
-- Are you getting ready to present on a technology-related project at a conference and need some practice in front of an audience?
If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, then we want to hear from you!
Graduate Women in Technology (G-WiT) is hosting the next Graduate Symposium April 13 from 11am - 1pm.
The Graduate Symposium is an excellent opportunity, especially for new graduate students, to present their research. Presenting at the Graduate Symposium is a great way to prepare for presenting at larger conferences in your field, practice talking about your work, meet other women at IU working with technology, and it adds a presentation line to your C.V.!
Each presenter will be given 10 minutes to present her research. Any research topic about, or that heavily relies on technology, is appropriate. For example, we've had presentations on topics ranging from cyber-security to costume design.
Proposals for the Graduate Symposium are short and aim to be hassle-free. No formal abstract required; simply provide 2-3 sentences on your topic!
Complete your proposal by midnight on March 18 via THIS FORM.
