NCTA Enrichment: Sijo Workshop: Comparing Korean Poetry with Chinese and Japanese Verse

Educators will be introduced to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean poetic forms (jueju, haiku, and sijo, respectively) through a series of lectures and hands-on sessions. Participation includes a travel/accommodation stipend, all texts and materials, three meals, and 8 hours of continuing education credit.

Presenters include:

Daniel Hsieh (East Asian Languages, Purdue University)

David McCann (Emeritus, East Asian Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University)

Elizabeth Jorgensen (Arrowhead Union High School, Wisconsin)
