Senior University: Intro. to Chalk Pastels
Join artist Cathy Feeman for a three-part introduction to creating paintings with chalk pastels! In this fun and relaxed workshop series participants will: • Become familiar with the materials and tools for working with pastels • Gain an introduction to color use and mixing • Learn and practice fundamental techniques for applying and blending chalk pastels • Create their own unique abstract pastel painting! This workshop will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm, Fridays, February 8, 15, & 22. Senior University workshops are free and open to all those age 55 and better! Registration is required.
