A curtain talk on Edward Albee’s The Goat, or who is Sylvia? Featuring the cast, artistic team, and special guest Professor Emeritus Rakesh Solomon 

Speaker Bio 

Dr. Rakesh H. Solomon is an Association Professor Emeritus in the Department of Theatre, Drama, and Contemporary Dance. He specialized in both American theatre and South Asian theatre, with additional expertise in contemporary British theatre and theatre historiography. He has published on these subjects in Theatre Journal, TDR: The Drama Review, Journal of Performance Studies, Comparative Literature Today: Theory and Practice, and International Journal of the Humanities, among others. His articles have also appeared in The Cambridge Companion to Edward Albee, Edward Albee: A Casebook, Writing and Rewriting National Theatre Histories, and Modern Indian Theatre: A Reader. His book, Albee in Performance, was published by Indiana University Press with a foreword by Mr. Albee.
