Maker Mondays: Soldering Basics: Build a Theremin

Register online. The theremin is a unique electronic instrument that can be played without physical contact. Patented by Leon Theremin in 1928, the theremin gained popularity in science fiction films of the 1950s and has been used in mainstream music by artists like the Beach Boys and Led Zeppelin. In this workshop, participants will build their own simple theremin by soldering together components. Participants will also have an opportunity to play a Moog Theremini instrument. Presented by Leanne Nay.
