Workshop: Creative Spark

This workshop on March 8 & 9, 2019, co-organized by David Audretsch from IU’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Maksim Belitski from the University of Reading (UK), Tommaso Minola from the University of Bergamo (IT) and Alessandra Colombelli from the Politecnico di Turino (IT), aims at addressing issues, which have been shown to affect innovation and entrepreneurship.

By considering both micro-, industry-, regional- and national-level issues, the workshop welcomes interdisciplinary in nature multi-level research on this topic. It seeks to showcase alternative, rebel or (and) creative approaches to existing theoretical concepts, empirical strategies and methods in entrepreneurship and innovation research.

The workshop is jointly sponsored by Indiana University, the University of Reading and the British Council "Creative Spark" project.

David Audretsch is the Ameritech Chair of Economic Development and Director of the Institute for Development Strategies at IU SPEA, as well as co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal.
