Medieval Institute Spring Symposium : "On the Road: Medieval Travel and Travelers"
I want to invite you all to this year's Medieval Institute Spring Symposium, "On the Road: Medieval Travel and Travelers," March 22-23. This year's symposium will include a series of paper sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday, a keynote lecture from Suzanne Akbari (University of Toronto), and the annual Reader's Circle Banquet on Saturday evening. The program will be of particular interest to medievalists, but all events are free and open to the public, with an emphasis this year on geographic variety. You can view the complete program on MEST's website here.
If you plan to attend any part of the symposium, including the Reader's Circle, please register here. Registering allows us to plan meals and provide each attendee with a name tag. Hope to see you there!
